My love for make up started when I studied to be a beauty therapist back in 2007 and have since worked in the industry for over 10 years. When I was searching to qualify as an MUA, I quickly realised that there was nowhere in Scotland that ran any training courses.

As I knew this is what I wanted to do, I made the decision to train myself. I would watch videos and practice on my friends at any opportunity. I started putting my make up on social media, quickly building a profile, and before I knew it, I was getting asked to do occasion and bridal make up.

2012, I started working with Benefit Cosmetics as a retail artist and was then headhunted by MAC Cosmetics 2 years later. Initially, I began as a retail artist and worked my way up to management level.

MAC gave me the best experience working with all different types of people.

In 2017, I made the decision to spread my wings and go solo. I was in high demand for weddings, private and commercial contracts. I was doing fashion shoots for Hayley Scanlan, Dreamland, Isolated Heroes and taking part in a range of other fashion and commercial events.

Due to all this workload, I finally opened my own studio and took on an apprentice.

In 2018, I studied to be an MUA trainer, which gave me the qualifications and skills to train anyone else who shared the passion I had for the industry.

I have trained and Qualified over 40 students, covering every area of make-up; Fashion, Bridal, Glam, Facepaints and SFX. Due to the devastating impact of COVID-19, I had to close the academy in 2020, after two very successful and rewarding years of being a trainer.

I now have my very own make up range (website attached below) and work freelance doing bridal, events and occasion make up.
